Llandrindod Wells gain memorable victory in delayed Welsh Cup tie

In a day of shocks,Llandrindod Wells from the Spar Mid Wales League beat Welsh League 1 side Caerau Ely 4-3 on penalties. The score was 2-2 at full-time and 3-3 after extra-time before Nana Baah's capital-city side were beaten by the dreaded shoot-out. Andy Smith, Tyrell Webbe and Gianluca Palladino scored the Caerau Ely goals, with Richard Powell, Shaun Nicholls and Connor Bird netting for the hosts.

The Llan'dod hero was goalkeeper Joe Prosser who made two saves in the shootout to start the wild celebrations in the spa town. The next visitors to South Powys will be Welsh Alliance side Holywell Town.
