Both Llanidloes Town and Bow Street gained excellent victories in the 2nd Round of the Welsh Cup and now can look forward hopefully to more favourable home draws in the 3rd Round when the WPL clubs join the competition. Llanidloes will probably be looking for a home tie against either Caersws or Newtown whilst Bow Street would probably plump for Aberystwyth at home in an ideal world. Llanidloes' win was gained at the expense of Cymru Alliance team Flint Town on their own patch and after trailing by two goals to nil in the first half. Barry Bellis was the Llani hero with a hat-trick in a brilliant 4-3 win. Bow Street were 2-1 winners away at Connahs Quay Town in what was a hard fought game especially after going behind also. The draw for the 3rd Round is likely to take place at a meeting in Cardiff on Tuesdya morning.
