Three progress

A total of seven Mid Wales League teams started the day with hopes of progressing to the First Round proper of the competition.After an exciting afternoon three league clubs are left.
In a thrilling match at Llansantffraid where tier 3 Welshpool were the visitors the teams could not be separated after 90 minutes it was the tier 4 club that prevailed when JakeHarris converted the winning penalty.
Welshpool took an early two goal lead through James Clewlow and Ricky Litchfield which they held until the 50th minute when Dale Evans (pictured) converted a penalty.He later scored another one in the shoot out.
The home side left it late to equalise when Shane Kriek scored in the 86th minute.
Brecon Corries saw off Tier 3 opponents for the second time when Llandrindod Wells were the visitors.Goals in a 3-0 victory came from Dale Evans 41,James Jeffreys 43 and Joel Evans 70
In an East v West Meeting at Aberaeron it was the home team that progressed 3-1 against Builth Wells.
Aberaeron led 2-0 at half time through Jamie Owen and Gareth Lewis with Builth reducing the arrears after 50 min through Lee James but Aberaeron secured the victory after 60 mins when Ryan Jenkins scored.
Tywyn Bryncrug failed to repeat their victory of the previous week against visitors Penparcau and were on the wrong end of a 4-0 defeat
Newcastle Emlyn were no match for Garden Village and were beaten 6-2 on their travels with their goals coming from Peter Almond and Sub Eamonn Bockmann soon after coming on.
Knighton Town unfortunately had to pull out of their tie at Berriew due to covid issues
