THREE clubs still left in Trophy

Three Spar League clubs are still left in the FAW trophy and move onto Round 4.
Two of the club are from Division 2 with Machynlleth leaving their league form well behind by defeating Amlwch Town 3-1 at home whilst Llanfair Utd had an excellent 2-1 away win at llanfairpwll.
Montgomery are the other club still in the cup after winning 5-2 at home against division 2 side Llandrindod Wells.
There were unfortunate defeats for Bow Street (0-1) , Presteigne (3-5) and Tywyn Bryncrug (2-3).
There will be much interest in the draw for the next round which is anticipated to take place in Cardiff this week.

In the Welsh Cup. Llanidloes won their twice postponed game against Halkyn by 6-1 and will now look forward to a mouth watering derby fixture at home to local rivals Caersws.
