May give Newbridge a reprieve
The future of Newbridge continuing in the Spar Division 1 next season lies in Llanrhaeadr's hands.
The League Secretary Phil Woosnam has been informed that no team from the Welsh National League wishes to gain promotion this season which has given Llanrhaeadr a stay of execution, if they wish to take it.
Llanrhaeadr have obviously been shocked by this news and it is understood that a decision will not be made as to whether they wish to continue in the Alliance until a board meeting takes place in the next few weeks.
Newbridge, who finished second from bottom in the Spar League , will earn a reprieve if Llanrhaeadr continue in the Alliance next season.
