Promotion/Relegation Issues getting Clearer

By Phil Woosnam

Promotion from Division 2 decided

The Promotion/Relegation issues are now getting clearer with just two weeks of the season remaining.
Llanrhaeadr look set to be playing in the Spar League again next season with an anticipted two clubs being relegated from the Cymru Allaince League.
They will be replaced by either Montgomery or Llanidloes who meet next Saturday at the former's ground.
Llanidloes are anticipated to require only a draw that day and even if they do lose, they have the chance to rectify the situation on the last day of the season with three points at already relegated Dolgellau. But as we've seen before, football is a funny old game and once again, anything can happen.
At the bottom of the league, Dyffryn Banw have now crept out of the relegation places by winning against Dolgellau this afternoon. They have a better goal difference than Newbridge who have three matches left to save themselves.
Their replacements will be Llanfair Utd who are Champions of Division 2 and Llandrindod Wells who finish as Runners-Up. Both will be excellent additions to the 1st Division next season as were Aberaeron and Four Crosses this time.
Aberdyfi are relegated to the Cambrian Tyres League and are likely to be replaced by Borth Utd who were this season's Emrys Morgan Cup winners.
