WEEKEND ACTION

Last saturdays fixtures saw more clubs returning to play following the lifting of restrictions.
Highest scorers were Llanfyllin Town who scored eight agains Llanrhaedr Res with a hat trick by Zach Ward (pictured scoring one of his goals)Luke Riley 2,Liam Pickstock,Carwyn Davies and Harry Dunn.

Forden Utd playing their first game came away from Four Crosses with a very credible draw in a tightly fought contest with goals from Tom Francis and a late penalty by the impressive Alex Morgan.

In an all Mid Wales League encounter Waterloo Rovers and Llansantffraid shared four goals with Waterloo goals from Callum Foulkes and Richie Lewis with llansantffriad goals coming from a Ryan Broadbent brace.
Meanwhile on an adjoining pitch Newtown Wanderers were invoved in an eight goal thriller with Waterloo Res.Tommy Burlinson 2 Dave Ash and Neil lloyd-Jones got the Wanderers goals while Waterloo were helped by two bizarre own goals.

In a close encounter Tregaron Turfs continued their impressive form to beat Aberaeron 2-1 courtesy of late goals by Daniel Owen and Dylan Davies,with the reply coming from Matt Mousley.

In a match involving Two clubs playing their first games Builth Wells finished 3-1 winners over Bishoips Castle.A very even first half saw the scores level at 1-1 but Builth lasted the pace betterto dominate the latter stages.Builth goals came from Josh Price,Christian Jones and Greg Preece with the reply from George Mellor.

Abermule were comfortable 3-0 winners over Llanidloes Res with goals from Charlie Humphreys,Tommy Jones and a first senior goal from young Euan Morris.

The match between Dolgellau and Tywyn/Bryncrug was postponed due to a waterlooged pitch but Dolgellau took advantage of Bala Towns 3g pitch in midweek to play out a 1-1 draw with Blaenau Amateurs
