PENPARCAU withdraw from League

By Phil Woosnam

Division 1 to run with 15 clubs again for next season

As a result of a number of players leaving the club, Penparcau have reluctantly resigned from the League for next season.
It was only two seasons ago that they won the Championship but they had no option this time around with players leaving to join other clubs.
The League will once again run with 15 clubs with obviously Presteigne being the main sufferers as a result of this late decision.
It was only last season when Hay St Marys withdrew and Llanfyllin suffered the same consequence.
A number of the original fixtures have had to be changed due to Penparcau's withdrawal.
