Abermule take over leadership in Division 2

Newbridge maintained their unbeaten start to the Spar Division 1 league after a 2-0 victory away at bottom of the table Dyffryn Banw.
This result means that Wenesday nights top of the table clash against near neighbours Rhayader, who moved into second place, but with a game in hand, should be a hum-dinger.
Rhayader beat Llansantffraid Village by 5-2 and remain with a 100% league record. This will be severely tested at Penbont in a few days time.
There were also wins today for Berriew who once again defeated Waterloo after their cup victory last Saturday and Llanidloes got back to winning ways with a 3-0 away win at Dolgellau.
In Division 2, Abermule are top after defeating Llanfyllin 3-0 at home and there were also good wins for league newcomers Knighton (4-0 at home to Tregaron), Machynlleth (4-2 at Presteigne) after being 2 down at half time and Aberdyfo (6-0) at home to Talgarth.
Four Crosses lost top spot after suffering a heavy defeat at Aberaeron whilst Llandrindod got the better of a five goal thriller away at Kerry.
