Mixed fortunes in Welsh Cup competition

Rhosgoch , Aberaeron, Llandrindod Wells and Bont gain excellent wins

There were mixed fortunes in the 1st Preliminary Round of the Welsh Cup although Division 2's Rhosgoch, Aberaeron , Llandrindod Wells and Bont gain pride of place.
Rhosgoch overcame Halkyn Utd 2-1 and Bont beat Castell Alun Colts by 4-2 at home whilst Aberaeron gained an excellent 5-2 win away at Penrhiwceiber Rangers and Llandrindod Wells a 3-1 away win at Johnstown Youth.
