Stalemate at Waterloo

Abermule missed out on the chance to join Knighton at the top of the league when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Waterloo.
In a game where goalmouth action was at a premium Waterloo took the lead through Ian Macleod in the 26th minute after va scramble in a crowded goalmouth.
Abermule equalised in first half injury time with a Charlie Humphreys goal.There was no further scoring in the second half with the teams sharing the points.
In the only other East fixture played Churchstoke put their two previous heavy defeats behind them and claimed maximium points with a 2-1 victory at Newtown Wanderers with all the goals coming in the second half.Tommy Burlinson gave Wanderers the lead after 52 minutes with Shane Morgan equalising after 62 mins.The winning goal came from Greg Pryce in the 82nd minute.
Newcastle Emlyn claimed all three points at home to Aberaeron with a solitary goal from George Lowry in the first half.
In the E.R.Jenkins cup Tywyn Bryncrug came away from Barmouth with a 3-1 victory
The visitors were two goals ahead at half time through Tom Allen and Nick Williams.
Bobby Griffith pulled a goal back after 87 mins to give Barmouth hope but A third goal from Ben Holt clinched the victory for the visitors
