LEAGUE FIXTURES for AUGUST announced

Interesting first weekend fixtures

As last season, Llansantffraid Village kick-off the new Spar League season with a home fixture against local rivals Welshpool on Friday 15th August.
On the Saturday, new boys Penrhyncoch go to Montgomery whilst Llanrhaeadr start at home against Carno who had an excellent season last year.
Four Crosses welcome league runners-up Llanfair Utd from last season whilst newly promoted Machynlleth will face a stern test at home to Berriew.

A tight race is again expected in this division as it is in the first and newcomers Churchstoke are at home to Talgarth whilst Penybont also have a home game against Abermule. Relegated Dyffryn Banw are at home to much fancied Knighton whilst Builth Wells are away at Presteigne. Hay St Mary's commence at home to Kerry.Also, Newbridge are at home to Bont who are now under "paddy" Hughes
