KNIGHTON Town do the double

Knighton Town completed the double by winning the Richie Jenkins 2nd Division Cup final after extra time at Penrhyncoch.
After taking a lead in the first half, Knighton let Borth back into the match and found themselves 2-1 down going into time added on.
Player Manager Adam Worton rescued his team with a great left footed volley from out on the left hand side of the penalty area to break the hearts of gallant Borth.
Knighton took control in extra time and went 4-2 up before Borth once again came back to set up a tense finale before finally going down by 4-3.
A fine season for both clubs with Knighton now looking forward to life back in Spar 1 whilst Borth have had an excellent first season in Spar 2.
