WATERLOO ROVERS KNOCKED OFF THE TOP

Waterloo Rovers relinquished their position at the top of the league on Friday night when a late Joey Price free kick (pictured) condemned them to a 2-1 home defeat.
After a goalless first half Tom Ellis headed Rovers in to the lead only to be beaten by two set pieces.The equaliser came from a 70th minute free kick from full back Liam Jones which deceived everbody and crept in at the far post and then the winner in the 81st minute.
Frustration boiled over in the final minute when Rovers substitute Will Pritchard was given his marching orders.
Abermule took advantage and moved joint top with a resounding 10-0 away win at Churchstoke.Abermule scored six before half time and a further four in the second half.Goals came from Dave Anthony 3,Tommy Jones 2,Dewi Hughes,Jack Jarman,Adam Putson,Mike Humphries and Dyfrig Rees.
Knighton joined Abermule as joint leaders on Saturday with a comfortable 5-1 home win over Bishops Castle.Knighton took the lead after 7 mins with a Kieran Dovey goal followed after 36 minutes with a goal by Taylor Wozencraft.Castle reduced the lead immediately through Sam Jones but could not build on this in the second half and Knighton added further goals through Wozencraft who also missed a penalty Lucas Kirby and an Own goal by Castles Alex Jones.
Forden Utd fielding a weakened side due to injuries came within a minute of sharing the spoils with Builth Wells.
Forden took the lead in the 22nd minute through Alex Morgan with a Builth equalise coming after 33 minutes courtesy of a Christian Webster og.With a share of the spoils looking likely Builth were awarded a last minute penalty when Carl Phillips handled the ball and was dismissed.The penalty was converted by Greg Preece.
Hay St Marys struck some form after a disapointing start with a 7-0 home win over a depleted Newtown Wanderers side.Hay were five goals up after 14 mins and led 6-0 at the bteak with a solitary goal coming in the second half Goals for Hay came from Matty Tong 3,Jack Cook 2, Charlie Howarth and Jack Biggs.
In the West Division Barmouth were defeated 3-2 at home by Tregaron Turfs.Turfs led 3-0 with goals from Daniel Owen 2 and Rhun Garner before A Barmouth fight back saw them reducing the deficit through Llion Owen and Bobby Griffith.
