There were rather mixed fortunes for our clubs in the Welsh Cup competition yesterday with three going through and one still to play.
Through to the next round are Newbridge-on-Wye who gained an excellent 5-1 away win at Cwmamman United managed by former Rhayader favourite Phil Bowen.
Waterloo were impressive 5-1 home victors over Cymru Alliance outfit Rhydymwyn and Montomery gained an excellent away success 5-2 after extra time at Venture Community.
Surprisingly, Halkyn's match at home to Llanidloes was postponed due to a "waterlogged pitch".
Unfortunately, Carno lost 4-1 away at Gwalchmai, Presteigne lost 2-0 at home to Penrhyncoch, Llansantffraid Village lost 6-2 away at Holyhead Hotspur and Four Crosses lost 2-1 at home to Llanrug.
The draw for the next round should be taking place tomorrow in Cardiff
