Following a long lay off a large crowd turned up for the opening league fixture as Bishops Castle came back from a 2-0 deficit to claim the three points.
Despite early Castle pressure it Was Forden that drew first blood with the impressive Jake O'Donnell putting them ahead after 8 minutes.This was followed by a carbon copy goal from the left wing by the speedy Alex Morgan
This stunned Castle into action and they reduced the arrears after 43 mins with a George Mellor goal.
The second half was equally contested but Castle claimed the points with a quick fire double from Martyn Ziemann and Sam Jones after 60 and 65 mins.
The following night saw Knighton bring Brecon Corries back to earth following their stunning Welsh Cup win at the Weekend.
Corries skipper Dale Evans missed a penalty on 2 mins but Craig Evans put them ahead after 8 mins
Knighton hit back with two quick goals from Lucas Kirby and Taylor Wozencraft to lead at the break.
The three points were made safe after 71 mins with a second goal from Wozencraft.
