Easter weekend started with a bumper crowd at Caersws watching Brecon Corries clinch the Emrys Morgan Cup with an extra time goal by full back Austin Mellor following a very close game with Tywyn Bryncrug.
Corries were in action again on Monday and maintained the pressure at the top with a 3-1 win at home to Bishops Castle.Goals from Joel Evans,Craig Evans and Luis Price clinched the points with Martyn Ziemann replying for Castle.
Builth Wells opened a six point gap with a 7-1 home victory over Newtown Wanderers with goals from Greg Preece 2,Lee James 2,Blake Evans,Chris Roff and Sam Williams.Ilias Pavlou replied for Wanderers.
