Unfortunately, all of the clubs going into yesterday's Welsh Cup ties are out of the competition at the 2nd Round stage. Llanidloes were unfortunatte to go down 2-0 at home to Gap Connah's Quay with two defensive mistakes making the difference. Newbridge also went down 2-0 away at Newport Civil Service and were also without fortune and ended the match with only nine men having had two sent off. Montgomery were doing well at 3-3 midway through the second half but lost out to four late goals whilst Builth went down 5-0 at home to Taffs Well who were worthy winners against a depleted home team. Llandrindod did the second division proud in a 2-0 away defeat at Cambrian and Clydach who top the Welsh League Prremier Division.
