BUILTH WELLS and FOUR CROSSES

By Phil Woosnam

end their seasons on a high

Builth Wells won the inaugural MMP League Cup with an extra time 2-1 win over Caersws at Rhayader. Its been an excellent first year back in the top flight with a joint fifth league position and now a League Cup winners trophy to go with it. Great credit must go to Chairman Chris Jones, manager Dylan Mcphee and all of his staff and the players who have bought into the clubs ambitions.
Similarly, Four Crosses have ended their season on a high with promotion back to the top flight by finishing as Runners Up in League 2 and also winning the E R Jenkins Cup by defeating Rhayader in the final at Llanidloes. Once again, credit must go to Michael Barton and his team who have gone up at their first attempt with a magnificent run of league wins since their last defeat at Montgomery on Boxing Day.
We wish them both well once again next season.
