Aberaeron hit the summit

An excellent 2-0 win at home to previous leaders Four Crosses

Aberaeron went to the top of the League after an excellent 2-0 home victory over 10 man Four Crosses.
In a physical first half, Four Crosses had a man sent off and could not recover from a 1-0 deficit at half time, conceding another in the second half.
Montgomery had an excellent 3-0 win away at carno whilst Waterloo and Newbridge moved up the table with 2-1 and 3-0 wins at home to Builth Wells and Dolgellau rresoectively.
Dyffryn Banw went to the bottom of the league after a heavy 7-1 defeat at home to Llansantffraid Village.
The Aber Uni v Welshpool game was a victim of the weather which does not bode well for the tight students league schedule.
In Division 2m Llanfair maintained their 100% record with a 7-0 win at home to third placed Hay St Marys.
There were also convincing wins for Knighton and Llanfyllin by 5-1 over Kerry and Aberdyfi respectively.
The other match between Talgarth and Presteigne ended in a 2-2 draw.
