WEEKEND starts off with two cup shocks

Cup weekend starts with a bang

The biggest shock of the night was undoubtedly at Presteigne who rolled back the years for an exciting 3-2 win at home against high riding Division 1 club Rhosgoch.
Both sides were locked in deadlock at 2-2 going into the 89th minute when Rhos hit the post and almost immediately, Presteigne counter attacked and scored the winning goal in added on time.
Kerry also were Div 2 victors at the expense of a Div 1 club again with an exciting win "under the lights" at Berriew. This time it was a 4-3 margin and must give hope to all of their fellow league clubs tomorrow who meet Division 1 opposition.
