RHOSGOCH also withdraw

By Phil Woosnam

One of the most disappointing weeks in the League's history

In one of the darkest weeks in the League's history, Rhosgoch Rangers have also had to withdraw from the 1st Division for the forthcoming season.
The club statement confirmed yesterday that they were having to fold immediately due to players leaving/retiring/and having long term injuries to key men.
Rhosgoch had been a revelation during recent times rising from the Mid Wales League South through Division 2 and into Division 1 last season where they finished in the top half.
Unfortunately, on one occasion last season, they could not raise a team and this remained a problem having no Reserve team and therefore having to cope with a small squad.
Rhosgoch unfortunately follow in the path of Llansantffraid Village who withdrew only a couple of days ago which leaves the 1st Division with only 14 clubs for this season.

Where next?

Llansantffraid Village withdraw from league With only 7 days to go before the start of the season
