Some interesting games to look forward too

The Spar League season kicks off on the weekend of 5th/6th August with some interesting fixtures.

Returning back into the league Llansantffraid Village are away at Bettws who did well in their inaugural season whilst Churchstoke, who also performed very well, entertain Abermule on the Friday evening.

On the Saturday, Dolgellau host Presteigne in an interesting start for both sides whilst one of the favourites must be Kerry who travel to a re-vitalised end of season team Dyffryn Banw.

Also, newcomers Forden welcome Newbridge who will be looking to improve on last season's efforts.

In the first division, the game of the day will be at Llanrhaeadr who host Carno whilst Rhayader will be looking to make a bright start at home to Machynlleth.

Newly promoted Berriew and Radnor Valley are away to Bow Street and Waterloo respectively who both struggled last season.

The schedule is complete with Aberaeron hosting Tywyn Bryncrug with both clubs looking to perform better this time around whilst Montgomery host Hay St Mary's under Mike Clare looking to improve on last season's efforts.
