Knighton and Hay St Mary's promoted subject to criteria

Knighton deservedly won the Division 2 league after a comprehensive 6-0 victory over Dyffryn Banw at Bryn-y-Castell this afternoon.
Connor Bird was the hero with a five goal haul which settled the Division 2 championship.
As Secretary Phil Woosnam said after the match, they only lost once all season at Bont by 6-0 so won the trophy on merit.
A large crowd was in attendance and they now rightfully regain their spot in Spar 1 after a number of years away.
Also, going up, subject to a criteria inspection will be Hay St Mary's who, although not playing today, get promoted due to Kerry'sbdefeat at Churchstoke.
Hay have only lost three times this season and also deserve their place back in the top flight.
