RHAYADER are Champions

By Phil Woosnam

despite losing at home to Berriew

Rhayader lost only their fourth game of the season at home to Berriew by two goals to one but still ended up celebrating after hearing that Carno had drawn one all at home against Llandrindod Wells.
A win for Carno would have kept the champagne on ice as they still had Tywyn to play on Wednesday evening before what should have been the big showdown at home to Rhayader themselves next Saturday.
Nevertheless, Carno could still obtain the Runners-Up position with three points on Wednesday.
Time will then tell as to which club will wish to be promoted to the Cymru Alliance for next season.
