Llani and Bow Street through

By Phil Woosnam

Two representatives left to fly the Spar flag

After yesterdays Welsh Cup Rd 1 ties, the Spar league still have Bow Street and Llanidloes flying the flag and hopefully both will be rewarded with favourable draws in the next Round.
Both caused shocks with Llanidloes defeating Ruthin of the Cymru Alliance league by a solitary goal at Victoria Avenue whilst Brains' Bow Street gained a home win by the odd goal in three against Lex XI who were also a CA team last season.

Dolgellau were unfortunate as were Tywyn Bryncrug who lost by solitary goals away at Llandudno and Nefyn Utd respectively.

All of the remaining teams battled hard but it was not to be on the day.
