KERRY are promoted as Champions

without playing this afternoon

In an amazing end of season in the second division, Kerry are promoted as Champions without having kicked a ball today.
Kerry themselves have failed to win their last two matches against Borth and Churchstoke and it looked as if they would have to wait until next Wednesday night to get over the final hurdle.
Borth, who were favourites to join Kerry in Division 1 next season needing only a draw to do so failed at the last hurdle themselves losing by one goal to nil to Dyffryn Banw whilst third placed Churchstoke pipped them for Runners-Up spot on goal difference by beating Four Crosses three nil at home.
At present, Churchstoke have not got the necessary Division 1 criteria but have until the month end to rectify this problem.
On another memorable day for Mid Wales football, Penybont deservedly won their first game of the season so well done to all of their players and committee.
