in an entertaining game at Carno

BERRIEW won the Summer Cup final 2-1 at hosts Carno in what was an entertaining game for the good sized crowd.
Carno went ahead through Peter Rees midway through the first half but this was cancelled out soon afterwards through a Richard Davies header.
The game was pretty even for most of the second half when ten minutes from time the leagues golden boot from last season Davies once again made his mark and scored after a mix-up between the Carno goal keeper and a defender.
The cup was appropriately presented in memory of the late Mr Edward Griffiths by his great grand-sons Ifan and Gethin.
